DJ Finesse Presents: B.I.G. Over Premier [DOWNLOAD]

During his all-too-brief music career the late Notorious B.I.G only collaborated with DJ Premier for three songs: “Kick In The Door,” “10 Crack Commandments,” and “Unbelievable.” However, those three songs cemented them as one of the best rapper/producer combos to ever grace wax. Unfortunately, industry politics between Biggie and Premier’s camps kept them from recording more (get the lowdown on that here) and fans were left wanting more.

Thanks to a combination of skill and love of the music DJ Finesse has crafted a musical wishlist of Biggie lyrics over some of DJ Premier’s most popular beats. For those familiar with the source material, hearing these vintage verses over these classics may leave your face stuck like this.

For example, “The Benjamins” over Group Home’s “Supastar” is just an east coast overdose of the best kind.  So listen in a judgement free zone.
