If you thought that the buck would stop with Rihanna and her clothing line, then you were sadly mistaken. This girl is on a role when it comes to new business ventures!
The latest way Rihanna is making money, is going to be with a reality show! Rih Rih is going to do something different from the screaming match, drama filled, reality shows, her show will focus on one of her other loves…fashion! She will have a styling competition based reality show, on the Style Network called Styled to Rock. Styled to Rock will feature 12 contestants, who will have the opportunity to design looks for different celebrities. The celebrity guest of the week will decide which designer accurately interpreted their vision, an advance them to the next round, until only two are left to battle out for the main prize. Rihanna is going to be the executive producer on the show (of course), and the mentor will be none other than style maven Pharrell Williams!
Pharrell Williams has just been announced as the mentor for the show. To paint a picture, Pharrell Williams will be the Tim Gunn to Styled to Rock. Pharrell is big in music and also fashion. He has his own clothing line, Billionaire Boys Club, and Ice Cream shoes at one point. Now you can see him always rocking the latest and hottest on the red carpet. With Rihanna being a producer on the show, and Pharrell having a major hand in the show, Styled to Rock may actually do well once it hits the tube.
Now I know you want to know when the show is coming out. Being that it’s summertime, and the brings sitcoms, I am predicting that it will be on the the Style Network’s Fall line up shows. The show is set to come out this year, a date has not been released however. But i will be glued!
