Your Week Ahead: Is it ever wise to trust others? Some would say not. They might argue that whenever we do this, sooner or later, we become disappointed. But what is the alternative? To live under a constant cloud of suspicion? We HAVE to give fellow human beings the benefit of the doubt as much as we can. Our sanity suffers too much if we don’t. Sometimes, it is much better to trust, even if there’s a risk that you may be wrong to do so, than to be painfully guarded and nervous. Be brave enough this week, to risk vulnerability.
Your Week Ahead – Love Focus: You can’t sell it if you don’t believe in it. It doesn’t matter what it is. Even if it is something that pretty much ‘sells itself’, you will endanger the transaction if you communicate so much as a scintilla of your scepticism – even if you do this only unconsciously, not verbally, via a raised eyebrow or some other example of inappropriate body language. Passion is powerful. Enthusiasm is infectious. Don’t waste precious time and energy creating a pretense. Do what feels naturally right, and it will turn out to be right.
