Flava Flav Arrested On The Way To His Mother’s Funeral

The Legendary hype man for Public Enemy and “Flavor Of Love” Star, Flava Flav (real name William Drayton), was arrested Thursday morning  while driving to his mother’s funeral.  

Newsday reports that Flava Flav:

was doing 79mph in his Hyundai at around 9:30 a.m. when he was pulled over near the Southern State Parkway. Police say Drayton was driving with 16 suspensions on his license (driving with ten or more suspensions on a license is first degree aggravated operation of a motor vehicle, a felony) and that they found “a small amount of marijuana” in his possession.

Flava Flav was arrested for Felony Aggravated Unlicensed Operation and traffic violations.  Fortunately the police were kind enough to release him so that he could attend his mother’s funeral.  As expected, Flava will have to  return to court to face all the charges at a later date.
