This is awesome, FLOTUS Michelle Obama is set to host a legendary line up of contemporary artists at the White House for the “Women of Soul” concert. Who is on the card? Aretha Franklin, Patti LaBelle, Melissa Etheridge, Tessanne Chin, Janelle Monáe, Jill Scott, and Ariana Grande, will grace the stage during an event that will touch on “the struggles and achievements of women.” First Lady Obama will also host a work shop for students prior to the show; 124 young women from across the country, middle school to college age will participate.
Women of Soul” will air on PBS Monday, April 7 at 9 PM EST & you can watch it via Internet later today.
