Well, this probably makes for awkward office talk.
Yesterday a Drake track titled “How About Now” was uploaded to Soundcloud by a teenage boy in Georgia who claimed it was an exclusive from the Drake’s fourth studio album Views From The Six, The Fader reports. The track samples Jodeci’s “My Heart Belongs To You” while Drake talks about a girl that he was super sprung over but didn’t want him until he blew up…and it’s possibly Nicki Minaj?!
A voice mail from a woman complaining that Drake acts brand new intros the song, and she sounds pretty similar to Nicki!
No one knows how the kid got the song, and it was taken down immediately. Although the he claims the song is from VFTS, many believe it’s a left over from Nothing Was The Same or even an earlier project. Wherever the song came from, it’s pretty darn good, which just makes us all the more excited for VFTS.
If the song isn’t about Nicki (and I doubt it is,) it’s only be a matter of time before the identity of the poor girl in the voice mail gets exposed.
