Celebrities have led the shift of Twitter – from the website you use to write out random thoughts, to an app for product promotion, addressing scandals, and tweeting long streams of consciousness that are over 140 characters long.
Stars are either posting a location to their upcoming event, partaking in beef, or clearing up some misunderstandings about themselves. But have you ever thought about what your favorite celeb’s first tweet was?
The social media application has come a long way since its 2006 birth, and so have the people who use it. Now everyone has instant access to their favorite big names, and celebrities don’t think of the app as a millennial fad.
