Chey Parker
Chey Parker is a media personality and entrepreneur who has worked in media as a writer, editor, producer, and on-air talent for more than a decade. A Hampton native, Chey graduated from Kecoughtan High School in 2009 with highest honors and went on to graduate magna cum laude from Howard University in 2013 with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Broadcast Journalism and Political Science. She has worked with several heavy-hitting media outlets, including C-SPAN, the British Broadcasting Company, Radio One, and PBS.
Chey Parker is currently a media personality for 92Q Jams in Baltimore and 93.9 WKYS in the DC, Maryland, and Virginia region. She takes over the airwaves every morning on 92Q as the co-host and producer for the number one morning show in the city, The Quicksilva Morning Show. Chey also cracks the mic every Sunday from 9am to 1pm on 93.9 WKYS. Prior to joining the Quicksilva Morning Show, Chey hosted her own midday show called The Midday Connection on 101 Jamz in Charlottesville. She also served as a co-host on WKYS’ hit show, Angie Ange in the Morning.
Aside from radio, she is the co-host of Diva Unfiltered, alongside one of her best friends, Dominique Da Diva. You can catch Chey in front of the camera on Fox 5 DC and Fox 45 Baltimore occasionally dishing on the latest celebrity gossip. But when it comes to national television, you can hear Chey as the voice host of MTV’s hit dating show, The Love Experiment.
Throughout her career, Chey has interviewed the likes of LL Cool J, Keke Palmer, Grammy-Award winners Victoria Monet and CoCo Jones, Offset, Kandi Burruss, Michael Ealy, Davido, ASAP Rocky, Terrence J, Yvonne Orji, YFN Lucci, Moneybagg Yo, Young M.A., Vivian Green, Gabrielle Union, Pardison Fontaine, Ice Cube, and Cedrick the Entertainer, just to name a few.
But Chey isn’t just all about media. She’s an engaging speaker, teacher and event host. She’s graced a variety of different stages, including the Millennium Tour with Bow Wow, the DC Comedy Jam with Lil Duval, CIAA Baltimore, and the DC Black Food and Wine Festival. She also recently served as the voice artist behind YouTube’s Black Girl Digital Awards presented by Walt Disney World. As a former government consultant, Chey has roots in artificial intelligence, marketing, and large-size corporate communications, and has served as a host and speaker on those topics, including Real Talk Drives Real Change with Chevrolet and Undeniable Conversations with Foot Locker.
Chey has been recognized on Vice’s DMV Top 35 Under 35 List, as well as HBCU Buzz’s Top 30 under 30 List for her career achievements and industry contributions. She was also named a “Phenomenal Woman in Leadership” by Life Enhancement Services in Washington, D.C.

Dabbling into a bit of TV, you can catch Chey on Fox 5 DC and Fox 45 Baltimore as a regular talking head, dishing on the latest celebrity gossip. She is also the host of MTV’s hit reality show, The Love Experiment.
