Cade Poulos, 13, arrived at school early Wednesday morning dressed as Batman villain ‘Two-Face’ for Super Hero Day. By 8:00 a.m., he was dead after committing suicide in a crowded highway of Stillwater Junior High School, reports KTLA.com.
Hearing gunshots, students from around the school ran to check out the noise and found Poulos dead on the floor.
This comes two months after James Holmes, 24, opened fire in an Aurora, Colorado movie theater dressed as Dark Knight’s ‘The Joker,’ killing 12 people and wounding 58 others.
While Hip-Hop is often characterizes as a negative influence on our youth, maybe it’ time that the focus broadens to encompass more mainsteam forms of entertainment.
