People say the most ridiculous things. It can be very hard to tell, when you constantly have to listen to preposterous claims, the difference between a truly relevant statement and a piece of persuasive whimsy. That’s largely why you don’t listen too carefully to much that you are told. Even emphatic statements, delivered with apparent authority, incline you more towards running a test than accepting a rule. You are about to discover, though, that one person’s words at least, really do carry weight. Heed them well!
