MALAYSIA-CHINA-VIETNAM-MALAYSIAAIRLINES-TRANSPORT-ACCIDENT

Malaysian airlines cannot seem to catch a break. Reports have come in that Malaysian Airlines No. 17  believed to be carrying 295 people was shot down near the border of Ukraine and Russia. The flight was traveling in route from AmsterdamKualaLumpur disappeared from radar screening at approximately 4:20 pm.

This is not the first incident these past few days of air crafts being shot down from the Russian territory. The Ukraine president, Petro Poroshenko, says in a statement that two Armed Forces of Ukraine planes were also shot down but doesn’t rule out  “that this aircraft was also shot down”. He goes on to stress that the Armed Forces of Ukraine had no involvement in the planes crash. He also expresses his sorrow and condolences for the tragedy, letting the people know that search and rescue efforts are being made. He ends his statement saying “we are confident that those responsible for this tragedy will be brought to justice.”

It may be safe to assume that people won’t be flying with them for a while.
