It appears rapper/reality star Joe Budden had enough of the speculation running wild all over the Internet regarding allegations that he abused his former girlfriend. Budden has wisely turned to his legal counsel to speak about the matter on his behalf . According to Bossip, his attorney released a statement this afternoon:

“Mr. Budden looks forward to an opportunity to responsibly deal with and address the allegations against him so he may establish the actual facts of the night in question. Mr. Budden has fully cooperated with the investigation. Mr. Budden asks for patience as the evidence and facts unfold to demonstrate the truth of his involvement and the real events that transpired on the night in question.”

Earlier today, NYPD News tweeted that he was on the most wanted list and twitter went crazy about the story as a result. Call us crazy but based on this statement, we get the feeling that we won’t see Mr. Budden on Twitter discussing this any further.

But when it’s all over we’re willing to bet there will be at least one song about it!

As we’ve said before, let us remember there are two sides to every story and we still say there is a lot more to this story that we have yet to hear.

Technically, Joe still hasn’t told his side of things, so we look forward to seeing what he has to say about the night in question sometime soon.
