Now I know why there are no casino’s in D.C.!
Mayor Gray isn’t a great gambling man. As we all know, the Washington Washington Football Team lost a great fight against the Seattle Seahawks last Sunday. We lost 24-14 against the Seahawks, and now the city’s eyes have to pay.
Mayor Vincent Gray of D.C., and Mayor Mike McGinn of Seattle made a bet on last Sunday’s game. The bet was that the losing team would fly the flag of the winning team in the city, for an ENTIRE day. This morning, the flag of the Seattle Seahawks, was hoisted up on the Wilson Building’s flagpole. The flag will be flapping until 5 PM today.
So if you happen to be riding in the city near the Wilson Building, don’t be alarmed when you see the colors blue, and green. Mayor Gray lost the bet, so now he has to pay up (SMH).
