Two Dogs Dead Following Electrocution In Northwest D.C.

Two dogs have died after being electrocuted in a Northwest D.C. neighborhood. Authorities are investigating the incidents, which occurred on the same sidewalk. The first report came in around 7:33 p.m. on Monday when a dog was reportedly shocked to death on the sidewalk.

Later, at approximately 3:54 p.m., MPD was notified of a second dog that had also died from electrocution at the same location. Pepco has been notified as part of the ongoing investigation. Residents in the area are urged to exercise caution while walking pets and to report any unusual electrical hazards immediately.
